Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan.

Khan played cricket for Pakistan from 1971 to 1992 and is considered one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the game. After retiring from cricket, he founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party in 1996 and has been its chairman ever since.


Khan entered politics with the aim of promoting good governance, ending corruption, and creating a welfare state in Pakistan. His party has gained popularity in recent years and won the 2018 general elections, which resulted in Khan becoming the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan.

As Prime Minister, Khan has focused on economic reforms, creating job opportunities, improving healthcare and education, and combating corruption. He has also emphasized improving relations with neighboring countries, particularly India and Afghanistan, and has played a role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
